September's Meeting - Monday - September 14, 2015:

We heard from representatives from three localities in Lake Country about Weldon, Littleton, and Roanoke Rapids. They told us about some of the history and things to do in each place and created quite a bit of interest. Each place was very well represented. Afterwards we had an Italian pot-luck dinner that was enjoyed by all. Lake Country has some great cooks!

Donations of non-perishable items for the Union Mission in Roanoke Rapids were collected.

Some of the folks at the meeting who heard from Heidi Hogan of the Town of Littleton, Christina Caudle from Roanoke Rapids and Julia Meacham of Weldon. Good turnout and good information.
